Message Yesterday, I spend a bit more time with the Z I just bought, did a compression check and I am very surprised at the results!
lowest cylinder reading was at 182, highest one, cyl 1 200 PSI. now, the highest one, the plug looked a little bit wet around the rings of the plug, I am guessing valve cover gasket leak and did not looked foul. I will post pics of the plugs shortly for you guys to see. All othe cylinders were reading at 182-185. How can this be on a 230kms engine ( 143000 miles) ??? I understand the engine can be carboned up, but all rings sealing at a good compression? either way, not going to complain, no wonder it idles on a dime

found two injectors ohming out of range. 110/120 ohms the others read at 11.9 so I guess I gotto pull the plenum and replace them. Anyone got two cheap NA injectors for sale? New style injectors too, please. also need one new style injector connector as well

I will jack up the car this weekend and take a look at the power steering leak. Yesterday , when I looked down by the radiator, I did not see the alternator as being wet. Yte, it pukes power steering fluid from somewhere. I am starting to thing its the pump? or the power steering assembly at the bottom?

Once I get this sorted out, I will work on doing a timing belt change/kit. that way can learn when it comes time to work on my TT engine.
